So, how did I get to Reconnecting Rainbows?

The short version is I can never find Christian products that I think are really pretty and colorful and artsy in their style. I wanted to create a brand to design and bring-to-market products that I would like to buy.  As a Sunday School student who was encouraged by my teachers to continue to read and study the Bible, I wanted a place to share what the Lord was sharing with me.

The name came about while reviewing small businesses for a contest at my job. The very first one on my list to review was an online shop that sold rainbow merchandise with a decidedly un-Biblical perspective.  The thought came to my mind, "if they can share their POV on rainbows, I can share what God's truth about them. And voila, Reconnecting Rainbows was born.

It helps that I'm a serial entrepreneur for whom creating brands is one of my favorite things to do. I love taking an intangible idea and turning it into a visible thing that people can see, experience, and purchase.  It combines several of the gifts the Lord has graciously given me - creative thinking, graphic design, and business strategy & planning.
