One of my favorite gospel songs is "Great Things" by Ricky Dillard which reminds us that God has a bright future planned for His people. It’s inspired by 1 Corinthians 2:9-11:
(9) But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. (10) But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. (KJV)
This promise of a bright future is backed up by Romans 8:28, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.”
Let these words comfort you today. God has a bright future planned for us.
